When you think of Chanel, you may initially think of designer handbags and luxury beauty products. But did you know Chanel also offers a variety of skin care products? In this review, we’ll discuss a few of the best selling products, key ingredients, Chanel Skin Care reviews from real customers, and more.

What are the best selling Chanel Skin Care products?

There are nearly 90 different Chanel Skin Care products that are divided into 15 different lines. As you can imagine, that’s way too many products to cover in one review! But don’t worry, below we’ll discuss three of the best selling Chanel Skin Care products: Sublimage Masque, Le Lift Creme, and La Mousse Anti-Pollution Cleansing Cream-to-Foam.

Chanel Sublimage Masque is a rich facial mask that is said to help target key signs of aging: wrinkles, loss of firmness, radiance and moisture, and unevenness of skin tone. This mask is recommended to be used one to three times per week, in the morning or evening.

Chanel Le Lift Creme is an anti-aging face cream that is said to promote a recontoured, toned, and refined complexion. This cream can be applied to the face and neck both in the morning and at night.

Chanel La Mousse Anti-Pollution Cleansing Cream-to-Foam is a facial cleanser with a rich cream texture that gently removes traces of makeup, sunscreen, and pollutants. It is claimed to help skin feel soft, deeply purified, and prepared for the next steps of your skin care routine.

What are the key ingredients in Chanel Skin Care?

One key ingredient that is found in the Chanel Skin Care Sublimage line is called “Enriched Planifolia PFA”, an extract from the Vanilla planifolia plant. Of all of the 117 varieties of vanilla in the world, researchers discovered that this specific species was the most beneficial for the skin. Interestingly, Chanel doesn’t describe the specific benefits of this ingredient or provide any research to back up the claims. The only thing they say about Enriched Planifolia PFA is that it “acts on all signs of aging”.

The majority of the Chanel Sublimage Masque formula consists of emollients, both natural and synthetic. For example, this formula contains high concentrations of hydrogenated polydecene and octyldodecanol, which are both synthetic emollients. This mask also contains canola oil, jojoba seed oil, shea butter, camellia seed oil, and argan oil. The high concentrations of emollients in this mask will help your skin to feel soft, smooth, and moisturized.

While Chanel makes numerous claims about the anti-aging benefits of this mask, Enriched Planifolia PFA is really the only anti-aging ingredient in this mask.

We’re pretty disappointed with the ingredients we found in the Chanel Le Lift Creme, primarily because alcohol is the third highest concentration ingredient in this cream. This type of alcohol is well known to cause skin dryness, irritation, and even disruption of the skin barrier, especially when used in high concentrations. Alcohol is combined with high concentrations of glycerin and dimethicone, which will temporarily reduce the look of fine lines and wrinkles.

This is because alcohol tightens the skin, glycerin hydrates the skin and thereby plumps skin, and dimethicone forms a thin, invisible film that can help disguise signs of aging. However, these effects are temporary and will disappear once you wash off the product.

Chanel La Mousse Anti-Pollution Cleansing Cream-to-Foam contains a pretty basic mix of surfactants, such as sodium palmitate, sodium stearate, sodium methyl cocoyl taurate, and more. A surfactant molecule contains one end that is hydrophilic (attracted to water) and one end that is lipophilic (attracted to oil). This allows surfactants to attract and suspends oils, dirt, and other impurities that have accumulated on the skin and wash them away. The cleanser also contains a blue microalgae that is claimed to help protect the skin against pollution, but we have to wonder how much protection this ingredient can offer since the cleanser is ultimately meant to be rinsed off.

Something else to be aware of before purchasing Chanel Skin Care products is that many of their formulas contain parabens. Parabens are preservatives used to extend the shelf life of a product by preventing microbial contamination. Over the past 10 years, parabens have become criticized for use in cosmetics due to research that has revealed their potential relation to health concerns. However, there is also research that suggests parabens are safe as used in cosmetics.

For instance, some research indicates that parabens are safe as used in cosmetics and preferred since they are gentle, non-sensitizing, and highly effective. Furthermore, these studies have demonstrated that parabens did not have any effect when compared to natural hormones in the body. Other research has concluded that parabens are problematic. The concern started when a 2004 study linked parabens in deodorant to breast cancer. This link seemed plausible since parabens can mimic human estrogen and it is known that high estrogen levels stimulate the growth of cancer cells. However, the study has since been discredited and the American Cancer Society has concluded that there is insufficient scientific evidence of parabens increasing breast cancer risk.

Where is Chanel Skin Care sold?

Chanel Skin Care products are sold on the brand’s website, as well as numerous third party online sellers such as Sephora, Amazon, and more. You can also buy Chanel Skin Care products from the Chanel counter at department stores such as Macy’s, Nordstrom, Bloomingdales, and more. You can use the store locator on the brand’s website to find a location near you that sells Chanel Skin Care products.

Is Chanel cruelty free?

Chanel is not cruelty free. Chanel sells its products in mainland China where animal testing is still required by law.

Chanel Skin Care reviews

Unfortunately, there are very few Chanel Skin Care reviews on the brand’s website. In fact, some products don’t have any reviews at all. Perhaps this is due to the high price of Chanel Skin Care products, making them out of reach for many consumers. The handful of Chanel Skin Care reviews that are available are mostly positive, but like we said, we cannot really gauge what customers think of these products with so few reviews.

On Styles Space (see below), comments were mostly positive. One person wrote: “I have received a sample skincare pack of Chanel products. The Micellar Cleansing Water is so refreshing. Leaves cleansed skin soft and clean. Hydra Beauty Creme is easily absorbed and nourishes the skin. Leaving it feeling comfortable. And the CCcream finishes off the regime perfectly. Also has SPF 50 which is a comfort.Thank you Chanel, as always quality products.”

The Chanel Hydra Beauty Micro Serum is a feather-light hydrating serum that aims to plump the skin and deliver a effective dose of hydration. The Micro Serum has been designed to utilize a handful of unique technologies in order to deliver a significant plumping effect. For example, the Hydra Beauty Line as a whole utilizes a patented micro-droplet technology that aims to protect and preserve their star ingredient, Camellia Alba OFA until the moment of application. Chanel Foundation

There are few foundations that portray luxury as much as Chanel Foundation does. When the brand dedicated to providing ultra chic, luxury fashion creates a foundation, you know you’re in for a treat. With six Chanel Foundations available to meet your skin’s every desire, this is the foundation to pick when in need of a luxurious treat.

    Popular Types of Chanel Foundation

The Vitalumiere Chanel foundation is the ultra moisturizing base makeup created to instantly refresh tired and fatigued skin. Formulated with a ton of moisturizing ingredients, the Vitalumiere Chanel foundation works to rejuvenate skin, improve complexion, and provide long lasting intense hydration. Within the nourishing formulation of this Chanel foundation, you’ll find an intriguing combination of marine extracts which promote radiance, and soft pigments that diffuse light creating a smooth appearance to skin. You’ll also find a healthy dose of SPF 15 within the Vitalumiere Chanel foundation, providing skin with protection from the harmful rays of the sun. This Chanel foundation has a lightweight texture that applies and blends into skin with ease, leaving behind naturally luminous, glowing skin. Available in eight shades, the only downfall to this popular Chanel foundation is that it leaves many skin tones and complexions out of its limited shade range.

    Chanel Ultra Correction Lift

Chanel Ultra Correction Lift Overview Chanel Ultra Correction Lift is a skin care collection marketed by its well-known namesake company, which was founded by Coco Chanel in 1909. The collection currently carries only four items, designed to treat under eye wrinkles, tighten skin around lips, and tone facial skin. For example, the Chanel Intensive Lifting Concentrate is designed to tighten skin by stimulating collagen production; the Total Eye Lift helps reduce puffiness and dark circles around eyes; while the Express Lift Firming Mask in the Chanel Ultra Correction Lift collection focuses on improving skin tone and texture. If you are considering products in this line, keep in mind that the items in this line cannot really be combined as a skin care kit. In other words, Chanel Ultra Correction Lift only provides a few creams and toners that can be used in your daily routine, but you will still need to purchase facial cleansers and any facial masks to complete your skin care regimen. This is an important distinction, because for many consumers finding a complete skin care kit from one company, can take the stress and worry out of your daily routine, since you won't need to constantly search for new products manufactured by other brands. Nonetheless, if you are considering products in this Chanel line, take the time to do your research and read Chanel Ultra Correction Lift reviews from various independent sources.

Chanel Ultra Correction Lift – Express Lifting Firming Mask

This Chanel Ultra Correction Lift product is a mask designed to tighten facial skin and temporarily reduce the appearance of wrinkles. At a cost of $85 per 2.5 ounces, the product can be considered expensive, and should be selected carefully if you don't have the budget to purchase this cream routinely. Some of the ingredients in this Chanel Ultra Correction Lift mask include Cetyl Tranexamate HCL to condition skin; Dimethicone, to moisturize skin; and Pentylene Glycol for hydration.

    CHANEL SUBLIMAGE Eye Cream

CHANEL SUBLIMAGE Eye Cream Review: Product Overview and Ingredient Information CHANEL SUBLIMAGE Eye Cream is formulated to combat the signs of aging that occurs around the eyes, such as crow's feet, dry skin, and dark circles and puffiness under the eyes. This eye cream is one of many skin care and anti-aging products sold by CHANEL. The company was founded in Paris, France by Coco Chanel in 1909, with a focus on women's fashion. Over the years, the company expanded to include cosmetics and skin care products, such as the SUBLIMAGE Eye Cream. If you're looking for where to buy CHANEL Eye Cream; it is available at the company website and at other online cosmetic and skin care websites. This is one of the most expensive commercial non-prescription eye creams on the market, costing $225 for 0.5 fluid ounces, so while your expectations may be high, you should also understand what CHANEL Eye Cream may be out of reach for many skin care budgets.

    Chanel CC Cream

CHANEL CC Cream Review: Product Information and Ingredient Overview The CHANEL company, which was founded by Coco CHANEL in the early 1900's, has a large product line that includes a clothing line, fragrances, and a skin care line that features such products as CHANEL CC Cream. This cream is designed to protect skin from the harmful UV rays of the sun with SPF 30 sunscreen as it lightens dark spots caused by sun damage. CHANEL CC Cream is available from the company website and at many other online retailers that carry health and beauty products. This brightening and sun protection product has a price of $55 for one fluid ounce at most retail websites, making it a moderately-priced item for most skin care budgets. Unfortunately, you may not be able to find CHANEL CC Cream reviews on the company website, but you may wish to look at other retail websites, or even watch some "haul" makeup videos on YouTube to gain a better feel for other people's experiences with the product.

    CHANEL CC Cream Ingredients

The active ingredient in CHANEL CC Cream's sun screen is titanium dioxide, which absorbs UV light and its free radicals before it can reach the skin. Free radicals are the main cause of age spots and premature aging, as they are highly unstable and destabilize molecules in healthy skin cells, which eventually causes overproduction of melanin and leads to cell destruction.

    CHANEL Moisturizer

CHANEL Moisturizer Options Like many skin care conglomerates around the world, CHANEL offers a large array of skin care products for all skin types, including their line of CHANEL moisturizer creams. The company creates quite a few hydrating creams, with a variety of purposes. Some CHANEL moisturizer items work specifically to reduce the appearance of wrinkles, while others focus on gradual prevention of skin damage by using a variety of nourishing ingredients to improve skin health at the cellular level. Whether you are trying to get rid of crow's feet, under eye wrinkles or find a facial moisturizer with sun block, chances are that the company has a solution for your needs. But just because a CHANEL moisturizer claims to treat a specific problem, that doesn't mean it will actually help you. Most consumers unfortunately forget that their skin is unique and that what works for their friend or their favorite celebrity won't necessarily work for them. Genetics, immediate environment and lifestyle habits all play a role in how quickly your skin ages, and therefore, the intensity of treatment your skin needs. In any case, focusing on ingredients in these products and reading CHANEL moisturizer reviews can go a long way in helping you make the right decision.

    CHANEL Tinted Moisturizer

This CHANEL moisturizer is usually sold under the sub-brand Hydramax Active Teinte. Unlike a regular CHANEL face cream, this is a facial moisturizer offering UV protection, and is meant for use during the day. The cream comes in three different shades; Sand, Bronzelit and Sunlit, with Sand being for fair skin, and Sunlint meant for a dark olive complexion. However, keep in mind that this CHANEL moisturizer only offers SPF 15 protection, which is minimal and should not be relied on for trips to the beach, hikes, or other outdoor activities. Instead, it is meant as a basic UV protectant that can be worn under makeup, to shield your skin during brief periods in the sun, during a typical work day. Therefore, you'd want to complement this CHANEL moisturizer with a strong sun block to prevent skin damage and the eventual appearance of dark spots on face.

    La Solution 10 Review

Is La Solution 10 De Chanel Good for Sensitive Skin? Finding the best face moisturizer can be a challenge for those with sensitive skin, but La Solution 10 De Chanel is one product that may be the solution for some consumers. Formulated with just 10 ingredients, this skin cream is claimed to provide strong hydration without the irritation and inflammation. However, though the Chanel brand name may inspire confidence in many customers, those with sensitive skin have probably already learned that the brand name is less important than the ingredients. Therefore, those suffering from rashes, inflammation, dermatitis, and other skin conditions are advised to research La Solution 10 De Chanel carefully before investing in this expensive cream. This includes reading La Solution 10 De Chanel reviews and speaking with a skin specialist. To help consumers who are considering this product, we’ve assembled some of the key points in this article.

How La Solution 10 De Chanel Works

The idea behind the La Solution 10 De Chanel is to help consumers who are struggling with skin sensitivities, by creating a moisturizer that has a smaller number of ingredients. By incorporating a simpler moisturizer into their skin care routine, some customers may benefit from enhanced hydration without uncomfortable side effects.

Chanel Le Lift Eye Cream Review

If you are looking for a truly luxurious eye cream, the Chanel Le Lift Eye Cream may be an excellent option to look into. The main technologies in this product are the result of 12 years of research lookin at new and innovative ways to target and address individual aging concerns around the eye area. The resulting formula is rich in unique ingredients, namely Edulis Morning Glory. But rather than simply including this extract, the brand went even further to create and patent a compound that is 50 times stronger than the original molecule. Today, this ingredient is simply referred to as 3.5-DA. This ingredient detects signs of aging on the skin and specifically targets them, improving skin tone, suppleness and overall firmness in the skin. In addition to this patented technology, this product also features the brand’s 360 Eye Opening Complex which specifically targets puffiness and dark circles to create a more even and brighten under eye area.
